Popcorn, Snacks Trigger Cancer?

popcornChewing popcorn while watching movies of course fun. Not only the eyes are pampered with movie treats, the tongue was spoiled by every item taste savory chew popcorn. But you know, these snacks proved harmful to the body?

The problem is in a chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA). These chemicals are on the container or packaging paper, often used for packing popcorn.

Location of the danger, these chemicals are part of a compound that can have an impact on infertility. These results are obtained based on a study recently conducted UCLA.

Chemicals used to give a sense of margarine on pocorn can damage the lungs and respiratory tract when tested in mice. Experiments show that diacetyl (a component of margarine artificial flavorings) can cause Lymphocytic bronchiolitis. Thus the conclusion of a study published in Healthtoday site.
Experimental mice inhaled diacetyl vapor within 3 months, proved to suffer from Lymphocytic bronchiolitis.

The condition can lead to obliterative bronchiolitis. Obliterative bronchiolitis is a rare and debilitating disease that many found in those who work in microwave popcorn packaging plant. Difficult to cure conditions that cause vague symptoms such as coughing and difficulty breathing. These symptoms will worsen gradually.
