fatWorld Health Organization (WHO) in its report put the number of people who died of obesity more than thin people, or even died of starvation. Excessive appetite more easily bring death rather than malnutrition.

In fact, people with obesity approaching 1.6 billion people around the world; 2.5 million of them die each year. Almost 18 million children under five suffer from obesity.

Reader’s Digest (USA) tried to bring this fact by holding a poll to find out how the world views of obesity and how to overcome them.

Finland, a country with a high awareness of obesity ’70s era
Finland is known as the country with the highest death rate from heart disease. But not anymore since the intensified public health campaigns to educate people to be more aware of diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking. The result, 80 percent of the population of productive age in Finland educate well and safe from danger of death from heart attack for more than three decades, and extended 10 years longer. The government of this country held a national movement “Quit and Win” to encourage residents of motivation to stop smoking, reduce cholesterol and fat, and if successful will get the prize.

Brazil, a country with a high incentive to look skinny

Surveys show, Brazil 77 per cent of men and 89 percent of women are worried about their bodies. It also encourages a high consumption of diet pills, plastic surgery, and even doctors recommend liposuction.

United States, the wives want husbands to lose weight
More than 51 percent of married women in America wished him thinner, and 47 percent of the husbands also wants the same thing. Ironically 68 percent of women blame culture that makes them focus on weight loss. Clearly, if they wanted a husband with a belly without excess fat. American women have a higher motivation than men in losing weight.

India, the husband and wife want a slim
As many as 48 percent of Indian men pleaded not satisfied with their partner’s body shape, and 46 percent of Indian women have the same recognition. It seemed that everyone was dissatisfied with her partner. An Indian was believed that obesity will affect their careers.

China, the country with the highest consumption of diet pills
As many as 37 percent of China’s claim to the consumption of diet pills that are considered as the most powerful way to get the ideal body shape. Russia, smoking becomes a way to lose weight
Smoking fought by almost all countries in the world, including Russia. Even so, 23 percent of Russian men and 18 percent of women chose cigarettes as a way to help you lose weight. Russian citizens also blame obesity parents will happen to him.

Philippines, countries with low motivation
Only 38 percent of the Filipinos who try to lose weight. Most of them (95 percent) had loved the food, and 82 percent of them claimed not to have a strong motivation to resist the love of all kinds of food.

France, countries that blame junk food
French residents hated fast food is popular in America. Bad habits junk food consumption is a measure of French citizens against the causes of obesity.

Mexico, countries with a high awareness of obesity
Nearly 93 percent of Mexico began to consume healthy food, and 86 percent of their active exercise. This realization came after the Public Health Agency of Mexico reported 70 percent of adults suffer from obesity. Mexican citizens also believe obesity affects sexual life of couples. Just as citizens of Australia, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
